On behalf of Pembrokeshire Referees’ Society, with an endorsement from the Referee’s Association of Wales I write to invite members of your society to join with us in a fund raising endeavour, named MATCH A MATCH FEE. Members from Pembrokeshire are willing to donate a match fee (£20) from a local league fixture and match this by undertaking an as of yet decided sponsored activity; the profits from our efforts will be donated to the Noah’s Ark Appeal for the Children’s Hospital of Wales. Whilst being of an obvious benefit to our intended recipients, the aim is also to raise the profile of the Referee’s Association of Wales as it nears the kick off of its new identity. Can your members buy into this? As the Children’s Hospital for Wales is a recognised charity in the principality, it is our hope you will give it your consideration and ultimately support. If it is your wish to join the MATCH A MATCH FEE fundraising effort please could one member of your society contact me, from which further discussions can begin?
